Atlantic City Beaches and Boardwalk

The Atlantic City, New Jersey beaches are famous, and rightly so. Plan Your Visit 

Atlantic City beaches are free, scenic, and easy to access and just steps off the world-famous Boardwalk. You’ll find amenities nearby like public restrooms, outdoor showers, and handicap-accessible surf chairs, making the shoreline welcoming for all. 

Beaches are open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. During summer, biking is allowed on the Boardwalk from 6:00 a.m. to noon in designated areas. Please note: motorbikes, smoking, and outside alcohol are not permitted on the beach or Boardwalk.

Parking & Transportation Options

Parking is plentiful throughout Atlantic City, with metered street parking, surface lots, valet services, and garages conveniently located near casinos and the beach and Boardwalk. Getting around is just as easy with Jitney service along Pacific Avenue and around town year-round, or hop on the Boardwalk Tram for a scenic way to travel the Boardwalk between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The off-season hours can vary and are entirely dependent on weather conditions.
